Lumension® Remote Systems Management

As organizations are being asked to deliver improved services without increasing spend, streamlining workflow to become more efficient plays a critical role in balancing these competing goals. Lumension Remote Systems Management (RSM) works with Lumension® Patch and Remediation, formerly PatchLink Update, to provide simple and integrated access to remote system tools, enabling administrators and help desk personnel to launch remote control and diagnostic utilities for Windows and Linux/UNIX based endpoints via the "device view" in the Lumension Patch and Remediation Console.

Lumension Remote Systems Management

Lumension Remote Systems Management (RSM) provides systems management functionality by leveraging your investment in Lumension® Patch and Remediation. Remotely control and manage your endpoints using standard tools to help reduce your support costs.

  • Access systems management tools directly from the LPR Console
  • Consolidated view of key LPR agent data
  • Access remote systems without needing to know DNS or IP address
  • Extend LPR console access to help desk personnel to provide remote assistance without additional fees

Force LPR Agent Wake Up Ensure that managed endpoints receive the most recent deployments by forcing the LPR agent to immediately check in with the LPR environment.
